This week there are a TON of absolutely great deals at Kroger! This is the 2nd week of the mega event, so it's your final chance, I shopped the mega event last week, and I spent $44 for TWO CARTS of groceries, with a $181 savings!! I even received $3 back for buying lunchables with fruit!

So here are the deals that are available this week! Remember, I shop Owensboro Kroger, and use the coupons available locally, except on coupons.com. For coupons from there I USUALLY use zip code 90210!

Avon 3 Day Walk For the Cure

My husband and I are assembling a team and raising money to walk with the Avon 3 Day Walk for the Cure in Chicago, IL August 5-7th.
If anyone would be interested, we are selling flowers online, through gurneys, to help us raise the funds necessary to participate in this wonderful event. For information on the walk you can go to
The 3 Day Walk Website
The link for our fundraiser is available here,  It's called "Flower Power", that's the name Gurney's gives to their flower fundraisers. We aren't doing very well at raising the money but we are really really trying because this is a very important event for me. I myself battle Lupus, and have had several RELATIVES, along with a few FRIENDS, pass away from cancers. Breast Cancer took one of my aunts.  So every fundraiser is important to me, and very dear to my heart this one is no exception. If anyone knows anyone that may be interested, please please please, tell them about it also. I promise you with everything that I am that we will put the money to the cause. To my friends out there, Tim and I also have catalogs that he'll have at work and I have with me, if anyone would like to purchase any from the catalog with a cash or check...

Thank you all who can offer support for this amazing cause!
Love always,
JRoos

Free Egg Beaters from Walmart!

If you like, or would like to try, egg beaters, Walmart is sending out free coupons with purchase! So head on over HERE and submit to have your coupon mailed to you. Don't forget to allow 6-8 weeks before getting ansy. This is a great coupon! I buy Egg beaters on occasion and they generally range between$2-$3 for a small container, and $3-$4 for a large container. So they can get a little pricey (which is why we don't buy them more often). Enjoy!

New Horizons & Ad-Sense

Our new website is being created as we sp...type? Read? Surf?...
ANYHOO...My husband and I are preparing to move, once again, and my hours have been cut at work...once again...yee haw...so the coupon game must begin!...again.
I have not....sadly...been couponing lately due to the fact that it can be very tiresome. It takes a lot out of my week! I spend nearly half a day clipping, organizing, and planning using adds. and then the shopping trips are longer too because I try to look for even more deals for my readers. However, since my hours at work were about 60 per week, I gave it up...we weren't eating much at home anyway...but now we are moving, and my hours are cut, and the games must begin again. But a new home for us, means a new home for US!
Because lets face it, if I'm going to be putting all this time into this for y'all, I am going to make it worth it for myself. So you'll see ad-sense, and occasionally some deals being offered. This is to help generate some sort of revenue to help make up for the fact that (besides my oldest is starting pre school, and tuition does have to get paid!), I will be paying for 1 extra day of baby sitting per week to do this for you guys, and I will be refusing an increase in hours that isn't even likely to happen for at least another 2 months. I am truly going to put myself out there and cross my fingers and toes, and crack open my praise journal and hope to God that we manage to get by!

Besides, thanksgiving is right around the corner, and this is the ABSOLUTE, NO QUESTION, BEST TIME of the year to STOCK THOSE PANTRIES!! We just ran out of our pantry stock from last year....so I know I really do needs those 30 cans of cream of chicken, and 50 cans of cream of mushroom soup that I got for SIX BUCKS last year...

But anyway, so if you think about it every now and then, could you click on them and drop a few cents in my piggy bank? Ad-sense does screen ALL adds for sites with malicious content and they are guaranteed safe. But you don't have to surf them...

Invite a Friend - Army of Women

Breast Cancer Foundation Donation!

Hey everyone! I know I haven't updated in a while. I have a good excuse! I got married on April 3rd! And I began a new job 2 days later! So I am still working to find balance in my life.
Now I know I have missed a lot of cause months which I hate! But I am going to try to make up for it, and over the next few months I'm going to run specials on different causes.
For the next 3 weeks, if you buy anything in my Mark store, located at http://jmallory.mymarkstore.com/ , I will donate 40% to the Breast Cancer Foundation. I generally do this during breast cancer awareness month, but I did not manage to this month and it's such an important cause I hate to go all year without giving it it's due.

So please join me in the fight! You can also help Avon join the fight by showing support and joining Avon's Army of Women!

Bread Outlet!

If your headed down Fulton Avenue N  then stop in at the bread outlet! (just after enterprise after you go under the Lloyd, it's a yellow building with tons of bread signs on it)

White bunny bread is REGULAR 35C! and honey wheat is 79! That's about 75% off the price of the stores! PLUS, every TUESDAY is BOGO day! Yesterday I got two loaves of white and two loaves of wheat for $1.14! That's FOUR loaves for LESS than the price of one at the supermarket!!
